The headquarters: One of the most important places of activity during Wilhelm Emil Fein's lifetime was Fein's headquarters at Leuschnerstraße 43b in Stuttgart-West. The move from Karlsruhe to Stuttgart in 1869/1870 laid the foundation for all of Wilhelm Emil Fein's future inventions. From then on, the head office was the pivotal point for the further success story of C. & E. Fein.
Fein Strasse: On February 5, 1957, the city council of Stuttgart officially decided to rename Fein Strasse in honour of Wilhelm Emil Fein. This decision was primarily in honor of Wilhelm Emil Fein's lifetime achievements. Today, Wilhelm-Fein-Straße can also be found in his birthplace of Ludwigsburg in honor of his life's work. The mayor of Stuttgart at the time, Dr. A. Klett, also had words of praise:

“Naming the street after Wilhelm Emil Fein would, as far as I can see, honor a Swabian inventor and company founder who is reminiscent of men like Daimler and Bosch.”

Lord Mayor Dr. A. Klett
Honored by the highest authorities: German President Theodor Heuss also had words of praise for him in a speech in Bonn dated November 9, 1953. “Wilhelm Emil Fein was a tremendously imaginative designer, with a talent for practical improvement and simplification of the project. Fein ́s influence on the development of electricity throughout southern Germany must be highly appreciated, also through his literary propaganda activities. He became a tireless practitioner, one of the inventors of the electric drive for machine tools, one of the fathers of the coming “electric tools”. His company later earned its fame beyond Germany through this specialization.”

THE LETTER FROM THOMAS EDISON -ROBERT BOSCH AS AN APPRENTICE AT FEIN

World-class training workshop: Even the young Robert Bosch was able to complete part of his training in the Fein training workshop. Other inventors of his time were also in close contact with him, so that Thomas Edison contacted him from his laboratory in New York on March 4, 1879 and wrote a handwritten letter to Wilhelm Emil Fein asking for a Fein product catalog.

THE RESTING PLACE OF WILHELM EMIL FEIN
